2025/10/10: Operation Get-Well-Soon! (Or: How I Almost Missed the Best Birthday Party Ever)
Ugh, today was THE WORST. Apparently, my body decided to stage a rebellion. Fever? Check. Vomit? Double-check. Temperature soaring to a scorching 39 degrees? You betcha. I felt like a microwaved potato – not fun.

No School?! Is This a Trick?
Mom announced I couldn’t go to school. At first, I was like, “YAY! Freedom!” But then I realized it meant missing playtime, snack time, and, most importantly, showing off my amazing tower-building skills. Plus, being sick is BORING. All I did was lie around like a sad, fuzzy lump.

Mission: Hà Tiên Birthday Bash!
But here’s the REAL tragedy: My cousin’s birthday party in Hà Tiên is TOMORROW! Hà Tiên! It’s supposed to have bouncy castles and face painting, and maybe even a real-life unicorn (a girl can dream, right?). Missing it is NOT an option. Operation Get-Well-Soon is officially a go!

The Get-Well-Soon Plan
Mom keeps talking about rest and fluids. Whatever. I need SUPER-HEALING POWERS. So, I’ve devised a plan:
- Drink ALL the juice (even the yucky green kind).
- Cuddle my teddy bear like it’s a matter of national security.
- Watch endless episodes of my favorite show (educational, obviously).
- Demand extra hugs and kisses (because they magically cure everything).
Wish Me Luck!
I HAVE to get better. Birthday cake and bouncy castles are calling my name. And if all else fails, I’ll just convince my fever that it’s not invited to the party. Wish me luck!
P.S. – I heard that fever in toddlers can be scary. I hope my mom does some research on toddler fever causes and treatment. Just in case!
