Sudo’s Weekend Countryside Adventure: Bears, Ball Pits & Unbrushed Teeth

Date: December 15, 2025

Section 1: Grandma’s Secret Stuffed Animal Empire 🐶🐱

Dear Diary,

This weekend, Baba and Mama packed me up and drove me to visit the grandparents. And honestly? BEST. DECISION. EVER. I don’t know why we don’t do this every single day. Someone needs to explain this to my parents.

I got to sleep with Grandma Ngoại, which was top-tier. But the REAL discovery? Grandma has been hiding an entire stuffed animal kingdom and nobody told me.

  • One pink dog 🐕 (very stylish)
  • One grey dog 🐕 (also excellent)
  • One cat 🐈 (…fine, I guess)

I immediately “borrowed” the two dogs. Indefinitely. No returns scheduled.

Did I want the cat? Hmm. I thought about it for 0.3 seconds and decided: No. Dogs only. I am a dog person now. This is official. The cat can stay on the shelf and think about what it did.

According to child development experts, toddlers around age 2 form strong attachments to comfort objects like stuffed animals — they help with emotional security and even support better sleep. (Source: LeFarm) So basically, taking Grandma’s dogs was a completely scientific and justified decision. You’re welcome, brain development.

Section 2: Ball Pit Domination, Surprise Grandpa & The Great Coconut Mission 🎯🥥

Bác Hai (that’s my cool Auntie/Uncle #2, for those keeping notes) took me, Anh Bột, and Chị Bắp to a ball pit playground. And listen — I did NOT come to play. Well, actually I did come to play. But I came to WIN.

Here is the official list of things Sudo conquered at the playground:

  • 🛝 The slide (multiple times, obviously)
  • 🐴 The flying horse (majestic)
  • 🪢 The rope swing (dangerous? maybe. fun? absolutely)
  • 🧗 The climbing wall (I am basically a tiny athlete)
  • 🧱 Wooden block stacking (architectural genius at work)
  • 🏖️ Sand play (sand got everywhere. EVERYWHERE.)
  • …and approximately 47 other things I can’t remember because I was having too much fun

Outdoor play like this is incredibly important for toddlers — it builds motor skills, balance, social interaction, and imagination. (Source: Kidsuni) Basically, I was doing serious developmental work. Please put that on my report card.

The next morning, we went to visit Ông Ngoại (Grandpa). Here’s what happened: I showed up at his gate and he JUMPED. Full surprise mode. Completely caught off guard. Meanwhile, Bà Ngoại Năm had apparently already sensed my arrival with her grandma superpowers and was totally calm. Grandmas know things. It’s unsettling.

At Grandpa’s house, I did something very important: I personally selected and carried up FOUR coconuts. Four. By myself. (Okay, maybe with some help. But the picking was all me.) Those coconuts didn’t stand a chance.

That evening, Anh Bột and I went to the supermarket for round two of fun. There was this game where you hit a button to catch prizes — horses, cows, all sorts of animals. I played with full commitment and maximum strategy.

Results: Caught a few animals. Lost ALL my coins. Completely broke. Zero regrets.

Section 3: The Unbrushed Teeth Catastrophe of 2025 😬

Okay. So. This morning.

I was sleeping. Very peacefully. Doing absolutely nothing wrong. And then — without any warning — Baba just… picked me up and drove me to school.

I did not brush my teeth.

I did not know this was happening.

I was ASLEEP.

By the time I realized what was going on, I was already at school, surrounded by my classmates, with a mouth that could probably be classified as a biohazard. 😱

This is not my fault. I want that on the record. I was a victim of circumstance and an overly efficient Baba.

Dentists say toddlers should brush twice a day to prevent early childhood cavities — and yes, skipping even one session is a big deal for little teeth. (Source: Baoson Paradise) So technically, Baba has committed a crime against my dental hygiene. I hope my friends didn’t notice.

They definitely noticed.

This has been the greatest weekend of my life, followed immediately by the most embarrassing Monday morning of my life. Classic Sudo experience.

Signing off with two stuffed dogs and one unbrushed mouth,

— Sudo 🐾
