📅 March 18, 2026 — The Great Ball Chronicles: A Tale of Sport, Rice, and Glorious Naps
By Sudo, Age 20 Months, Professional Athlete and Nap Enthusiast
Dear Diary,
Today was, objectively, one of my greatest days on this Earth. And I have had MANY great days. But today? Today was different. Today I had the ball, the rice, AND the perfect nap. The holy trinity of toddler excellence.

⚽ Chapter 1: The Ball Incident
It started with the ball. THE ball. My ball.
(Everything is my ball. This is not up for debate.)
The weather today was absolutely chef’s kiss — warm sun, gentle breeze, the kind of day that makes you want to run at full speed directly into something. And I did. I ran. I jumped. I threw that ball like I had a very important sports contract to fulfill.
- 🏃 I ran. Fast. VERY fast. Adults could not keep up. This is expected.
- 🦘 I jumped. Both feet. Off the ground. I am basically flying at this point.
- 🎯 I threw the ball. It went… somewhere. Didn’t matter. The THROWING was the point.
- 📢 I narrated everything out loud because apparently I am also a sports commentator now.
According to my extensive research (I overheard the grown-ups talking), toddlers my age are really hitting their stride with running, jumping, climbing, and throwing. So basically, I am not causing chaos. I am simply meeting developmental milestones. You’re welcome, science.
The sun was warm on my face. The grass was green. The ball was mine. Life was perfect.
And then they said it was time for lunch.
THE AUDACITY.

🍚 Chapter 2: Rice — The Main Event
Okay. OKAY. Fine. I will admit it. The rice was good.
I wasn’t going to admit this. I had a whole plan where I would dramatically refuse food to assert my independence. But then I smelled it, and all my plans dissolved immediately.
I ate that rice with the energy of someone who had just completed an Olympic athletic event. Because I HAD. The ball game was extremely intense and I deserved every single grain.
- 🥄 First spoonful: Suspicious. Evaluated carefully.
- 🥄 Second spoonful: Acceptable. Proceeding.
- 🥄 Third spoonful: Actually incredible. Why did no one tell me food was this good after sports?
- 🥄 Final verdict: Bowl = empty. Sudo = victorious.
I have recently been expanding my vocabulary at a truly impressive rate, and today I used several important words during lunch. Words like “more,” “yum,” and a very firm “MINE” when someone looked at my bowl for too long. Experts say toddlers my age understand far more than they can say. Trust me. I understand EVERYTHING. I just choose what to respond to strategically.
Strategic silence is a power move. I learned this recently.

😴 Chapter 3: The Nap That Saved the World
After the athletic achievement and the rice conquest, it was time.
Nap time.
Now, I want to be very clear: I do NOT nap because I am tired. I nap because I am recharging. Like a very powerful device. A device that also drools slightly.
The warm sunny weather had made everything feel soft and cozy, and I will not lie to you, Diary — I was asleep before my head hit the pillow. Full send. Zero resistance. Unconscious in approximately four seconds.
It was a perfect nap. The kind of nap that feels like a warm hug from the universe. The kind of nap that toddlers aged 15 to 18 months and beyond absolutely need because we are GROWING and DEVELOPING and doing VERY IMPORTANT BRAIN THINGS even while unconscious.
I woke up refreshed. Ready. Dangerous.
The ball was still out there. The sun was still shining. And I, Sudo, had fully recharged.
📊 Today’s Official Sudo Score
- ⚽ Ball game excellence: 10/10
- 🍚 Rice consumption efficiency: 10/10
- 😴 Nap quality: Legendary/10
- ☀️ Weather cooperation: Outstanding
- 🌟 Overall day rating: One of my best works
Tomorrow I will do it all again. Perhaps even better. Perhaps I will throw the ball farther. Perhaps I will eat two bowls of rice. The possibilities are endless when you are 20 months old, brilliantly talented, and fully napped.
The world is not ready for me.
