Operation Plant Rescue: A Diary Entry

Today, Daddy and I went plant shopping after my super important learning session (aka, playtime!). All those leafy green plants were SO pretty! I wanted to grab, like, a million of them. But Daddy said no. Apparently, we have plants at home that need my super-special attention first. Something about “post-Tet recovery” or whatever. Seriously, adults and their big words!

Turns out, we have these sad-looking Split-Leaf Philodendrons (try saying THAT five times fast!) that were, like, totally bummed out from the Tet holiday. Daddy said they needed “saving.” So, naturally, I became Super Sudo, Plant Rescuer! I helped water them (mostly I splashed water everywhere, but details, details!) and gave them some encouraging words (mostly demands to “grow faster!”).

I really hope those plants don’t give up on me! It felt amazing saving it! I wish my family could plant one plant every month.

Sudo cũng muốn trồng một cây nữa, nhưng cha nói, ở nhà còn những cây trầu bà lá xẻ nam mỹ đang cần phục hồi sau tết. Về nhà sudo đã phụ giúp cứu lại những cây héo vì những ngày tết vừa qua. Hi vọng nó sẽ sống xót. Sudo cảm thấy thật tuyệt vời, ho vọng mỗi tháng gia đình sudo sẽ trồng thêm một cây.
