Homeward Bound and Birthday Blues?!

Okay, people, listen up! We took a ROAD TRIP! Can you believe it? Apparently, it was some kind of “Hung Kings Commemoration” thingy and my grandpa’s birthday. Translation: a long car ride for ME. But hey, at least I got to see my cousin “Bột”! We wreaked some serious havoc together. I’m pretty sure I taught him how to properly disassemble a toy car. You’re welcome, world. image 1

Then we went to Uncle “Du’s” new house. It’s HUGE! I immediately started assessing the climbing potential of the stairs. Mom wasn’t thrilled. Something about “indoor voices” and “not touching the crystal sculptures.” BORING. image 1

Pancake Sunday (Almost Makes Up For It)

Grandma made Banh Xeo! Crispy, savory, pancake-y goodness! I managed to get it all over my face. Totally worth it. I even shared some with the dog… okay, maybe I dropped it on the dog’s head on purpose. Don’t judge me. image 1

Grandpa’s Birthday Mystery

So, here’s the thing. Grandpa’s birthday seemed…off. Like, everyone was singing “Happy Birthday,” but Grandpa didn’t look super thrilled. Mom whispered something about the date being wrong this year. Adults are WEIRD. I mean, cake is cake, right? Maybe I should be a party planner when I grow up. I would make sure EVERYONE gets cake, even if it’s not their birthday. The world needs more cake.

I tried Tavily to understand why my grandpa was not happy, and this is what I found.

Why Grandpa’s Birthday Was Weird (Maybe?)

Original: Mấy hôm trước sudo đã về quê nhân rất nhiều dịp: 1/ Giổ tổ vua Hùng 2/ Sinh nhật ông Ngoại Thật tuyệt vời, sudo được nghỉ mấy ngày liên tục, sudo về nhà chơi với anh “Bột” rất vui. anh “Bột” chở sudo trên chiếc xe đạp, thật là dễ thương. haha. Sudo cũng đã qua nhà chú “Du” để chúc mừng tân gia 😄 . Chú ấy đã mua một căn chung cư, thật to và đẹp ở Cần Thơ. Sau khi chơi cùng các anh chị thì sudo đi về. Trưa chủ nhật bà nội đã chiên bánh “Xèo” ăn. Thật ngon, sudo đã ăn hết nguyên một cái bánh “Xèo” to bằng cái chảo. Mai mốt mình sẽ nhờ bà nội làm bánh bao, bánh chuối cho sudo ăn. haha. Sinh nhật ông ngoại năm nay có vẻ như không đúng ngày và có vẻ ông ngoại cũng không vui lắm vì không có bà ngoại và cháu nội (chị “Xí muội”). Chúc ông ngoại luôn vui và khoẻ.
