2025/04/01: Operation Watermelon Meltdown
Okay, today was NOT my best day. Apparently, there are these things called “rules,” and I, Sudo, am supposed to follow them. News to me!
First off, bath time. I love being clean, I really do. But clothes? Absolutely not. My dad seems to think this is a problem. I prefer the term “freedom of movement.” He calls it “running around naked like a wild banshee.” Potato, po-tah-to. This resulted in… let’s just say I saw the grumpy side of Daddy Dearest. Strike one.
Then, the watermelon incident. Dad was cutting it up, and it looked SO GOOD. I mean, seriously, the redness, the juiciness… I needed it NOW. Apparently, you have to wait for it to be “properly plated” and “permission granted.” What kind of dystopian rule is this?
I did a quick search, and apparently, impulse control is still developing in toddlers. Tavily search So, technically, I’m just ahead of the curve wanting watermelon immediately! Strike two.
And finally, the Great Water Spill of 2025. I was thirsty, okay? And the water looked so inviting. So, I helped myself. Turns out, “helping myself” also meant “accidentally creating a small indoor swimming pool.” My bad? Strike three.
So, yeah, today was a triple whammy of toddler rule-breaking. And to top it all off, it was raining. Because apparently, the universe likes to pile on the misery. Huhu.
Huhu
